Inventory Management – Edit Dates & Times

The Edit Dates and Times tab in the Event Builder allows you to update the times and dates for published events. The are two ways to make these updates to Events;

  1. Update the date and time on a Specific events.

  2. Update Multiple Events in a Date Range with a new dates and times.

Both of these processes are explained below. However, we recommend that you read and understand how both of these processes impact your event set up before you move forward with changes.

1. How to Update the Date and/or Times on a Specific Event

Use the following steps to update specific event dates and times.

  • Click on Event Builder on the left side bar

  • Click on the EDIT DATE TIMES tab

  • In the ‘Select Tour’ field, you can type in the name of the experience and search for the specific event that you want to update.

  • Check the box next to the experience that you want to update.

  • Update the start and end dates to narrow your search to a specific date frame.

  • Click SEARCH and the results should list the available events in the date range that you requested.

 

NOTE: The default view for results is to show only Public Events. If you are trying to update a Private Event you will need to switch the “Show only Public Events” Toggle OFF.

 

  • To update the date or times for a specific event, scroll down to the event you want to change.

 

  • To update the date, type the new date into the Start Date field.

  • To update the times, type in the new times into appropriate time fields.

  • Note: the current number of tickets sold is listed below the Maximum Capacity fields in all events for your reference. Make sure that you alert these guests to the updated date or time via the Boarding Report Email Blast function.

  • When you have completed updating the dates & times scroll to the bottom of the screen and click SUBMIT.

2. How to Update Times to Multiple Events within a Date Range

This is used when you want to apply a bulk update to the times for multiple events in a date range. For example, if you to want to update the start/end times assigned to all Nightly Dinner Cruises for the next month, you can use this feature to update them all in one step.

Use the following steps to update dates & times on a series of events.

  • Click on Event Builder on the left side bar

  • Click on the EDIT DATE TIME tab.

  • In the ‘Select Tour’ field, you can type in the name of the experience and search for the specific event that you want to update.

  • Check the box next to the Experience/s that you want to update.

  • Update the start and end dates to narrow your search to a specific date frame. (maximum one month date range)

  • Click SEARCH

  • Review the event results to make sure that all the events on the page need to be updated. The Vessel update will be applied to ALL of the events listed on the page.

NOTE: The default view for results is to show only Public Events. If you are trying to update a Private Event you will need to switch the “Show only Public Events Toggle OFF.

  • Go to the APPLY FOR ALL TOURS section and select the new Vessel in the Select Vessel field.

  • Type in your new times into the Start Time, End Time and Boarding Time fields.

  • If you have updates to times for a Private Events, click on the ADDITIONAL FIELDS and more options will appear allowing you to update the Dockside Start, Sail Time, Dock Time, Dockside End, Disembark Time, Out Time.

  • When you are done click APPLY and all of the events on the page will be updated with the new times.
